Kiki Voulgareli (Painter, Engraver)

Born in Athens, she studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts and continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Arti) both in Florence (painting and engraving) and in Rome (set designing, photography, aesthetics and history of art). She studied in Venice the technique of Marbling-Ebru.

Having received a scholarship from the Hellenic Ministry of Education (1991-1993) she worked on her dissertation in fine arts under the supervision of Professor C. Botsoglou.

Her work experience is mainly on the field of Graphic Arts and Advertising. As such, she has worked for Bayer and Squibb
companies and she has created book illustrations for the publishing houses of F. Editori, S. Bellini and Dodoni.

She also has professional experience in scene-painting and she has been working as an art instructor for many years.

She has taken part in individual and team exhibitions in Greece, Europe and the USA.

Pieces of her work can be found in public and private collections and museums, both in Greece and abroad.

Her work has often been discussed in the daily press, in art magazines, as well as on radio and television by: Manos Stefanidis, Athina Schina, Iris Kritikou, Veatriki Spiliadis, F. Farulli, Spyros Koukoulomatis, Stelios Lidakis, Dimitris Deliyiannis, D. Micacchi, Kostis Leontis, Maria Katsanaki, Kostas Sfikas, Sandro Bellini, Mina Macheropoulou, G. Eptakili and Mary Theodossopoulou.
